Today's Outfit:
Blouse: Forever21
Skirt: Old Navy
Belt: Wet Seal
Shoes: Ebay
Bracelets: Forever21

The background in the pictures above are located just outside our apartment complex. We live right next to the country, which I love! Now that the weather is getting warmer, and the grass greener I want to take more pictures here. My boyfriend took these pictures, he is a much better person photographer than I am (haha). I am loving his camera- it has worked out great for us both. :)
My favorite above is the one on the road. We had about 30 seconds to take this picture! I think that is the fastest we had to take a picture (lol).
This blouse was my favorite purchase (besides the maxi skirts) from Forever21. It is quite comfortable and the quality is amazing for Forever21. I love it!

Fashion Around the World Series: South America Part 1

Samba Do Brasil

Fashion Week in Brazil

Amazon River Tribe - Traditional Ceremony

Andean women in Peru

Columbia

Traditional wear in Ecuador

Venezuela

New Guinea

My third installment of the fashion around the world series is on South America. I will be splitting this country in two. As you can tell from above, I have covered Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Columbia, Venezuela, and New Guinea.

As with the past two countries I have covered (India and Africa), South America's people are not afraid of color and pattern! Brazil of course is famous for their Brazilian wax and they are not afraid to show off their bodies in bikinis!

The most inspirational are the tribes in the Amazon. I didn't want to include too many of their pictures, as they are famous for being half naked. And I don't really want to include those kind of pictures on my blog. Their handmade clothing and body paint is very gorgeous and inspirational.

I am just loving all the fashion in South America. What is your view?

Aurelia Gliwski for Vogue Australia May 2011

I found this editorial to be exotic, stunning and gorgeously photographed. I just had to share them with you all! I am loving the Spanish feel to the photos. I adore and want the dress in the next to last picture. Gorgeous!

Hope you enjoyed these photos as much as I have! :)

Celebrity Fashion Weekly Edition: Wedding Guest Outfit Edition

This week's celebrity edition is on the star of The Tree of Life, Jessica Chastain!:

How to copy this look for all under $100!:

Dress: Pleated Double V-Neck Dress with Embellished Belt for $59.99 at JcPenny
Shoes: Women's SHI by Journeys Mysta Heel for $40 at Journeys

Total outfit: $100 exact!

Going to a wedding this summer? Then I have found the perfect dress for you! Red is a perfect color for a wedding. White is a no go and Black just looks depressing. Wear red and you will definitely stand out, but not so much that you will look better than the bride. You don't want that!

Jessica's dress looks gorgeous. It was hard finding one similar but the one I have picked out would be perfect. I just love the detailing on Jessica's dress. The feather like detailing is gorgeous!

Oh, and JcPenny has free shipping with $70 purchase right now so if you decide to purchase this dress- just buy a small $10 accessory and you will get free shipping!

Would you wear red to a wedding? If not, what color do you typically wear?

Free People May 2011 Catalog: Favorites

After discovering this online store early this year I feel in love with the clothing immediately. This store carries exactly my style, it was like made for me. Unfortunately not made for my wallet. Someday I will own something from free people!

Which look is your favorite from the May catalog?

Polyvore Outfit of the Week- Tribal

Tribal

These past two weeks with posting my new series, fashion around the world, I have been inspired by tribal prints and ethnic fashion. I am just loving tribal prints, tribal jewelry and platform heels. It makes me feel a little closer to home, which is probably why I like it so much and love incorporating it into my wardrobe!

What are you inspired by at the moment?

Always,
