Yolan Cris 2011 Coleccion Alquimia

I was browsing bohemian wedding gown images on Google when I came across this Spanish Wedding Dress designer. These gowns are absolutely amazing and captivating. These dresses would be perfect for that non-traditionalist bride. It would be great for a bride who wants a dress that is different, one of a kind and a little "vintage-y". Any of these would be perfect for the beach too as they have a laid back, breezy style.

I could totally see myself wearing one of these dresses on my wedding day. I have always wanted just a simple wedding. Just the closest ones to me there right on the beach. I think this style also suits me very well. though I think if I was going to get something similar I would get thicker shoulder straps so that I could wear a bra/corset.

Would you wear any of these wedding dresses (if you haven't already gotten married)?

Traditional Japanese Wedding Attire

This week's fashion around the world series is on Japan. The fashion in Japan is so unique, that there is nothing like it anywhere else in the world. Japan's fashion is distinctive, colorful, avant-garde, and beautiful. The Lolita fashion as shown above is becoming increasingly popular in Japan and all around the world. There are gothic, sweet, punk and classic Lolita fashions shown today. Lolita is very popular among the teenagers and young adults. Anime Fashion is another trend that is becoming increasingly popular. With the rise of video games and anime shows and movies, it is often now seen worn among the younger crowd.

Traditional fashion also still exists in Japan. The kimono is the popular traditional garment. The Geisha (a person who works in the performing arts) has been around for centuries. The makeup, hair and attire is absolutely gorgeous. The dedication and time to put on the makeup, fix the hair and to dress like that is phenomenal. I don't even like spending more than an hour getting ready.

Also I am so happy that I am getting such great responses to this new series. I have always been fascinated by other cultures, what they do, what they wear and who they are. Fashion is so unique from country to country. I really enjoying inspiring you all and letting you have the chance to try new things and learning what is fashionable in other countries!

Polyvore Outfit of the Week- Classy Beachwear

Classy Beachwear

This week I was inspired by classy pieces at the beach. Wear a black (or white) swimsuit, gold jewelry and white accessories for the ultimate classic beach look. Also a black swimming suit will make you look ultra slim! Make sure to slather on some self tanner (if you don't already have a tan) as white looks amazing with a tan. The gold jewelry will further bring out that tan. You will look like a beach goddess!

Do you wear black and white to the beach or do you add in some color?

I usually don't like boyfriend jeans (particularly on me) but I loved this look on Eva. She was spotted wearing this outside of the grocery store. She looks effortlessly chic and ready for spring. My most favorite part of the outfit is the shoes and the handbag. The shoes I showed are so versatile that you could pair it literally with any outfit. They would sexy with a mini dress and chic with skinny jeans. Remember too that you can find many basics for quite at an inexpensive price such as the top at Forever21. I love Forever21 for those trendy and basic pieces!

What do you think of Eva's look? Would you wear this look?

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Leopard and Lace Lookbook From LuLus

While shopping on LuLu's I found this lovely look book. I am loving the mix of the lace and leopard print. The jewelry in the fifth picture is just gorgeous and I want every single piece minus the earrings. And can I say I seriously want those shoes in the first photo? Those are fierce and sexy! Love Jeffery Campbell shoes. The shoes in the photo are listed at $157. They are a little spendy but they are quite less expensive than most designer shoes and are just as stunning!
